The Florida Cup is much more than a simple tournament. It is filled with unique events from beginning to the end, such as:
- the Magic Kingdom® Park that brings a star player from each team on top of a car driving through main street;
- the NBA Shootout between a star from each club and a selected fan, which takes place at one of the Orlando Magic games at the Amway center, downtown Orlando;
- the Florida Cup All Star Game displaying skills from former idols of the game of soccer.
The Cup can be decided by aggregate points or through a final match (playoff format), varying each year according to the international leagues schedules.
In 2016, the winner will be the club with most points after 2 matches. The first tiebreaker, shall it be needed, will be goals differential, followed by goals scored.
